FOSTER FAMILIES

At Discovery, we believe that true religion is taking care of those in need, especially orphans and widows in distress, as stated in James 1:27. Two of our Core Values are, “We Love Intentionally” and “We Express Generosity.” We want our beliefs to propel us to action! We believe that our state should not have a foster care crisis, because we as the Church should step up and solve the problem. We do understand that no one person can do everything, but every person can do something. Some of us can be foster parents. Some of us can offer financial assistance to foster parents or can volunteer to babysit for foster parents.
